1. Definitions and Interpretation

In these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"), "PrismCeilings", "we", "us", or "our" refers to PrismCeilings Pty Ltd. "Client", "you", or "customer" refers to the individual or business entity browsing this website or commissioning our stretch ceiling consultation, fabrication, and installation services.

2. Use of this Website

By accessing prismceilings.com.au, you agree to comply with all applicable Australian state and commonwealth laws. You may not scrape, inject malicious code, or misappropriate any media, drawings, or written content without our written approval.

3. Services Description

PrismCeilings provides bespoke installation of PVC and fabric stretch ceiling systems, integrated LED lighting tracks, and acoustic insulation solutions. All quotes provided via this site are initial estimates subject to laser site measurement and structural assessment of the host building.

4. Quotations and Currency

All prices, fees, and quotes are stated in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are subject to Good and Services Tax (GST) unless explicitly noted otherwise. Quotations remain valid for thirty (30) days from the issue date.

5. Client Obligations & Site Access

The client is responsible for:

• Providing uninhibited physical access to the room on agreed installation dates.
• Ensuring ceiling framing or perimeter walls are structurally sound and capable of supporting profile tension.
• Providing standard 230V mains electrical supply for our tools and testing equipment.
• Disclosing any hidden in-wall electrical conduits or plumbing before profile fixing.

6. Payment & Fabrication Terms

Because stretch ceiling membranes are custom-welded to the unique millimeter dimensions of your room, fabrication commences only upon receipt of the agreed deposit. The remaining balance is payable upon project completion and handover inspection.

7. Warranties and Australian Consumer Law

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. We do not invent exaggerated warranty claims beyond our statutory and supplier guarantees.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under Australian law, PrismCeilings shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss arising from delays caused by adverse weather, freight disruption, or hidden structural building faults. Our liability is limited to resupplying the services or reimbursing the service value.

9. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be in breach of these terms for failure or delay in performance resulting from events beyond reasonable control, including extreme weather events, natural disasters, national supply line embargoes, or government directives.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia. Both parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant Australian state courts.
